New Recipe - Fluffy Berry Curd
Here is a delicious finale to any summer meal - Fluffy Berry Curd - fresh from the Fruisana Kitchen. The recipe is ideal because it doesn’t matter whether you use strawberries, raspberries or blueberries. You can also use stewed rhubarb, gooseberries, red, white or blackcurrants, damsons or greengages – the choice is entirely yours. Remember though, by using Fruisana instead of regular sugar (and that goes for the stewed fruit too, don’t forget) you will be enhancing the fruit flavours to the maximum.
The recipe uses quark – a soft cheese made from skimmed milk so ideal for slimmers. Quark is readily available in most supermarkets. Fruisana Fruit Sugar is used by many of our top chefs to bring out the very best of our British summer fruits but this recipe will work just as well with fruit which has previously been frozen, but has been defrosted.
